“Cardamom is one of the best all-around herbs that everyone should be taking.”

Cardamom or “Elettaria cardamomum” grows in Asia, India, Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka, Laos, Guatemala, Nepal, and other tropical places… and it has so many amazing healing qualities that make it very important for good health.

There are many different types–red, white, black, green, Java, brown, Siamese, Kravan, and Bengal. All of which have slightly different qualities. Green is probably the most common for use in cooking… and because it’s the least expensive and easies to find.

Cardamom can be added to coffee, tea, chai tea, cold drinks, soups, stews, curries, lentils, beans, casseroles, meats, fish, poultry, and sweets of all kinds including rice puddings, cakes, breads, candies, and many wonderful foods. And cardamom is one of the main spices used in Garam Masala seasoning.

To date there are no known side effects of cardamom. But those with gallstones should avoid it because it stimulates the gallbladder.

Most people recommend for making cardamom tea using 1.5 grams per cup of hot water – and steeping for 15 minutes. And in other forms such as capsules and powders taking 1.5 grams per day.

First part of October, maybe the very last part of the grape season in September?  I picked from a friend's grapevines, enough Concorde Grapes for two (2) gallons full, AFTER doing the 'processing':  2-1/2 cups of grapes from 2LBs.  That is an amazing preparation study in-and-of -- all by the subtraction of 2LBs to 2-1/2 cups.  Realizing how many grapes to make the SIGNATURE DESERT, that would be in the fall to winter.  Seasonal.

How to preserve such HEALING indeed  Shall post about the Grapes and all about, the amazing 'fruit'.

Concord in the State of Massachusetts, and bankruptcy took away many of the Concord grape 'vineyards'.  Competition with Chile and the other South American places that grow grapes (e.g., Peru), in GLOBALIZATION -- caused the vineyards to not be able to stay in business, in Concord, Mass.

I was pressured in health at the time, however, the benefits from the health of the grape gave my mind the energy to stay focused and get enough grapes to understand the powerful force in the Concord grape, that is far older than the MASS' story.

Picked them, then cleaned them up to put all together into a pot and slowly cooked the pot of grapes, every bit -- seeds, rinds, and of course the grape.  Unbelievably delicious and healthy?  wait and see how amazing EARTH is, in our reality of body-mind-spirit.

O.K. put Cardamom in the grapes and tapioca finely ground.  Also made a shortbread for the crust of some of the grapes I cooked into small "bars" (bite-sized pieces).

Delicious doesn't describe the delicious of Cardamom.  How I was introduced to Cardamom was when watching a video on how to make the best cinnamon rolls.  They were the best cinnamon rolls and that really was the memory ringing the bell of Cardamom.  So went on-line and read and then, cooked art food.

I am experimenting with art food.  I love to cook and organic is my only choice in the world of "food".

Purchased the Cardamom in the seed form as the digital image above reflects.  I popped open the pod and then ground the Cardamom.  I have extra in a glass container which I can sprinkle the ground Cardamom into whatever I choose.

More on the GRAPES, and other cooking such as PUMPKIN "pie" pumpkins cooked, cleaned and a pumpkin art food desert.

Banana bread with peanut butter.  Learning how to take the 'food' which I have and not following a specific recipe because the experiment would not be 'pure' in following a recipe that isn't "organic" too.  http://sorendreier.com/benefits-of-cardamom/
